Worship and prayer are two wonderful blessings Jesus gave us. By attending church or Mass, we give praise to God. Prayer is a conversation with God at any time and any place. As Catholics or Christians we have many prayers and they are important too. Just don’t get caught up in worrying if you don’t remember each word of a prayer.

Worship comes in several ways. Going to church is essential and an easy opportunity to worship. Singing words if praise and giving thanks are worship. Penance and confession of sins shows God you are serious about His Word. I worship God by going to Mass, singing His praises and penance. Once you start, it will become a glorious routine.

I pray constantly. Most of my prayers are a conversation with God. I also pray to Our Father, Hail Mary’s, the Rosary, and novenas. If I miss my prayers, I just don’t feel as I normally do. I miss praying and praying will strengthen your relationship with Jesus.

Worship is full of prayer

One prayer that is very special is called the Rosary. The Rosary is a set of 50 Hail Marys, Glory Be, Our Father, Apostle Creed, and Hail Holy Queen. We never worship Mary. Mary is the Mother of Jesus and deserves honor and respect because she deserves respect for being Jesus’s mother.

We ask for Mary’s help, but not worship. Mary asked us to pray the Rosary each day. Praying the Rosary will place you in her protection and your prayers will be heard. Always keep a Rosary with you for your protection. When you feel lonely, pray to our Mother, Mary. She will be with you, as will Jesus. He will be there in your lonely places with strength. The Eucharist is the biggest strength so when you go to church to worship God, please take the Eucharist.
