10 Amazing Ways to Have a Productive Sunday

A productive Sunday helps you to get the week off to a great start. While I agree that Sunday is a day of rest, as the Bible instructs, I know that there are low-key jobs that you can do to get your week to go smoothly.

Church or Mass is a priority for me, and I recommend it. Why? Getting your soul and mental health in the right mindset is a priority to make a productive Sunday. Plenty of churches exist for you to visit and feel how you fit in. I’m Catholic, so I feel at home no matter what Catholic Church I attend.

Please remember that no matter what Church you listen to, the Church is made for the imperfect. You are there to worship God, have a closer relationship with God, and always try to be a better person. Church has no age limit. It’s for people from zero to natural death.

After spending time with family, I do these to help my week go as smoothly as possible. A productive Sunday makes for a better week.

    Productive Sunday Tips

    1. Pay my bills.
    2. Schedule essential tasks – decide what needs to be accomplished that week. A planner like this – planner from Amazon might help.
    3. Create a to-do list.
    4. Look over my calendar. Having children means you’re super busy, so keeping events in mind is a good idea. Discuss with the family the upcoming week.
    5. Pick out outfits – I pick out my weekly clothes on Thursdays, but Sundays are still good.
    6. Meal plan – I could improve at meal planning, but it’s a great idea.
    7. Break down big tasks into smaller ones: Sometimes, a big job can overwhelm you, but making it smaller helps.
    8. Do something fun or relaxing – the weekend is usually about the children and family. I try to do a few things I enjoy for myself. Playing a game, reading, or walking calms me for the week ahead. A productive Sunday has to have some fun.
    9. Go to bed early – On Sunday night, I try to go to bed early to start my week without being tired. Going to bed early is also self-care. I might watch a show that I enjoy.
    10. Organize the house – You can’t have a great week with a messy house. You’ll feel better when things are away, and laundry has been done.
