Jason is Now a Seven Year Old Kind Boy

Jason’s handsome

Jason turned seven last month. I still remember when he was born – I actually remember when I found out I was pregnant.  I didn’t think Jason would ever come to be because pregnancy just didn’t happen. But one day, in July 2012, my lower back ached and just felt off.   When I saw 2 lines pop up on the pregnancy test – I felt goosebumps and complete joy.   Right away, I went into “mommy mode” of eating right and protecting myself for him.

Seven years later, I cannot believe how fast time flew by.  Having him around has been the biggest blessing.  Laura and Jason together are indescribable joy. Laura is the best big sister even if they still have arguments here and there. They are normal siblings but love each other very much.

He loved his birthday presents of My Singing Monsters toys, Dogman books, Minecraft anything, and everything he received.

Jason is in the first grade.  He has actually mastered reading completely for his grade level. His hardest subject is math, but we are working on that. Jason is sweet and kind.  If you need help, he will help you. He received recognition at his school for being kind. A teacher dropped a stack of papers in the cafeteria, and Jason was the only one who ran over to help her pick them up.

He is smart by understanding things on a deep level.  Jason is a deep thinker on things I’d never imagine he would think about. Jason is like me in several ways. We are sentimental, emotional, laugh at everything, likes to joke about everything, loves animals and enjoys life. Our sense of humor is so similar that it gets us in trouble sometimes during church or whenever I try to discipline.

For his birthday, he had school and we went out to dinner. Two days later, we had his kid party and family birthday party.  The theme was LEGO and Laura made the birthday cake.  We all had a great time.

I loved Jason at six years old but he’s still the most adorable boy I know.
