February has always been one of my favorite months. January seems to drag, but February you know that winter is more than half way over.  Groundhog’s Day is a fun holiday to celebrate and no presents are needed.  St. Valentine’s Day is full of love and friendship. In our house, we also celebrate Jason’s birthday.  Yes, I like February!

I feel that I did pretty well accomplishing my goals last month. It wasn’t easy because I kept getting sick. Every time I felt a little better then bam, I had strep throat or a cold! I feel like it was the longest cold ever because I’m still blowing my nose!

Fifty steps were added to my step goal each day.  I didn’t reach my full 7,000 steps a day yet, but I am now up to 4,050 a day. I’ve written in my gratitude journal daily, posted on my blog fairly regularly, and submitted 4 weeks of articles into bionews.  Luckily, I could substitute teach twice a week and this week will be three times. I prayed daily and tried to spend adequate fun crazy time with my family.

I have goals for this month, and we will see how well I do.  Hopefully, you’ll feel inspired to set your monthly goals as well.

    1. Keep adding 50 steps a day until I reach 7,000 and then maintain it.
    2. Be better at keeping track of my kids technology time and be creative with family time.
    3. Post in my blog twice a week.
    4. Submit 4 articles.
    5. Keep up with my daily prayers, gratitude journal and using my planner app.
    6. Be as patient and firm with my teenager.
    7. Have a great birthday with Jason!
    8. Keep subbing!!
    9. Lose 5 pounds.

Even if I don’t accomplish all of these, it’s great to have focus. When life becomes busy or depressed, goals are a reminder of hope.  Hope to have a better day and reach a goal.

    Happy February!
