Colder air arrived in many parts of the world. Are you ready? Some like warm weather with shorts and tank tops, while others prefer cold temperatures. I don’t mind being cozy with sweatshirts, but I like warmer weather if I don’t have to wear a jacket.

Regardless of what we prefer, what does your closet look like for the winter? Did you pull out your winter gear yet? People with cerebral palsy often do not like the cold because the cold makes our muscles stiff. So I created a list of clothing and winter gear that I prefer. You’ll agree with my style or give me some ideas for your winter wardrobe.

winter suggestions

  1.  Wearable blankets/hoodies – I bought oversized sweatshirts like this because I sat outside for band competitions and baseball games. These are easy to put on and off. They are soft, warm, and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that I could put my hands in my pockets to keep my hands warm. It worked! Wearable blankets
  2. Kookaburra by Ugg boots – Yesterday was my first time wearing these excellent boots. I like how comfortable they feel. My feet were warm and cozy. Kookaburra boots
  3. Bear Claw Boots – Bear Claw boots are also comfortable and warm. They are worth the price. They are easy to put on and off. You’ll enjoy the feel and fuzziness inside. Bear Claw Boots (I wear children sizes and they feel great too.)
  4. Poncho – A poncho sweater keeps you warm and is easy to wear. As a woman with cerebral palsy, it’s easy to get it and off, especially by yourself. Poncho
  5. Levi pull-on jeans – Do you like to wear jeans but do not need help putting them on and off? These jeans look nice and are easy on and off. They are the best of both worlds. Levi Jeans
  6. Sweater dress – Sweater dresses are warm and stylish. Throw on a pair of leggings and see you glow. You are now ready for warmth with style. Sweater dress
  7. Fleece jogger pants – Imagine the warmth of these fleece joggers. You’ll be cozy and comfortable on cold days. Fleece joggers
  8. Pajamas – Buy some cozy pajamas to stay warm all night long! Pajamas
