Forgiveness lies in front of us if we want it

Forgiveness is such a wonderful thing to do and accept. Sometimes it is not easy to forgive someone, especially when someone hurts us deeply. Often we think the person does not deserve our forgive so we hold onto the pain.

The truth is that holding onto the pain or grudge hurts you as much as it hurts them. Sometimes holding the pain will destroy the happiness and joy that is available to you. God forgives probably every millisecond of each day thousands of people. Think about that – God’s forgiveness is shared each second we breathe. Yet some of us hold onto things we can easily forgive and let go.

Sins are apart of life. Grave sins are very serious and damaging to your relationship to Jesus. Confess grave sin as soon as you can. You will not only feel better but repair the most important relationship of your life. Forgiveness comes to those who are brave enough to ask for it.

Remember that you can’t receive Holy Communion with a grave sin. Always confess and take the Eucharist.  Eucharist means thanks! Don’t deny yourself that each week. Confession might seem daunting or embarrassing. However, confession is an amazing tool that Jesus designed for us.

The Eucharist is Jesus. He is physical form of true love. He loves us no matter what we do, but we need forgiveness. God loves you.

Forgiveness is there for those who ask

I pray to God probably 100 times a day. He is my best friend and Father. Rely on him to be your guide and support. He knows you. Also, about the Eucharist, dress appropriately for Mass and take Communion as often as possible. We need Jesus to help us overcome alcoholism, addiction, suicide, and depression. We need Jesus just to survive a day. He can help you and He always has forgiveness.
