New Year Equals To A New You To Change and Grow

Happy new year! A new year often leads to hope and experiences. I hope all is well for you reading this. Last night I didn’t go out, but my kids and I stayed in and watched movies. Jeff had to work bright and early today. We had a great time together regardless! It has been a tough end of year with sickness in my house. I’ve had a cold that I cannot seem to get rid of. Laura has been sick, and I gave my attendant off today because she’s sick.

But I decided the new year equals new hope. With my blog, I want to give my readers hope each day of something in life. We all need motivation to do something with our lives. Less complaining and more solutions. At the beginning of December, I had to help my dearest dog, Lady, to Heaven. I decided to try to always look at life as a gift that you need to keep working towards. Her death wasn’t her story – her story is the sweet life she lived.

Why am I happy this new year

    • Laura is feeling better and helping me as much as she can.
    • Jason is as cute as ever and reading well.
    • I exercised today.
    • My dogs are adorable because they like to cuddle.
    • It is a sunny day,
    • Next week I go back to substitute teaching.
    • The newest Star Wars is the absolute best.
    • I love baked potatoes with butter and salt.
    • Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are the best!
    • We caught up on general hospital.
    • We are watching the Mummers! The Mummers remind me of my grandmother.

What is your source of happiness today?

    Jessica

Everyday should have something to be happy about. When you complain less, you open your heart to more happiness. Even if you feel pain, you can dig deep to find joy.
