iPad Air has been a great buy for me. I like using iPads because they bring me so much independence. I can use it with so much ease and on my own. No one needs to set up a bulky computer or fragile laptop. I just pull over my iPad and can use it. Cerebral palsy makes using technology difficult, but I finally found something that works!

My husband bought me an IPad Pro in 2017. It was great and got me many hours of writing, entertainment, games and job hunting. However, for about the last three months, it has been acting funny. The touch screen wasn’t as responsive like it was in the past. Then recently it would just continuously reboot. It would reboot when I typed or used it. I called and my Apple Care just ran out. Of course!

Last weekend, because I use the technology so often, I bought the newest iPad Air. I was debating between the Pro and air. From my own research and my husband’s research, I found that the iPad Air made much more sense. The pro is more expensive and might have a few other things such as another speaker. But this iPad Air honestly has done everything that I needed it to do.

iPad Air Benefits

  • The touch screen makes it so easy to type. Typing is pleasant and fun to do.
  • It is light weight and slick design.
  • I don’t miss the button at all. In fact, not having the button makes getting around the iPad even easier!
  • The keyboard is great because it has tab and caps lock. The other keyboard didn’t have them.
  • The speed is fast. Apps open quickly. Typing goes quickly.
  • You can shut all tabs with one button in Safari.
  • Buy the Apple Care monthly and it will keep you covered throughout the use of your iPad. It won’t just run out every two years.
  • The price is about right and more affordable than the pro.
