Prayers Help Happiness and Anxiety

Prayers really do make you calm. I feel that I always had a pretty good relationship with God. Prayer has been apart of my life forever. My parents taught me to pray and prayer saved my life. My mom prayed for me like crazy when I was born, and I’m here today despite a loss of oxygen at birth. Anxiety is far less with praying daily. Happiness is yours when you’re with God.

As I grew, I realized that the more I relied on prayer, I felt less anxiety. Now, I pray everyday multiple times. With the help of the app, Hallow and Pray app on my iPhone, I feel I can stay focused. Happiness helps me smile. I’m a better mom, wife, friend and teacher.. I pray novenas to saints for intercession, the Rosary and night prayer. By doing this daily, I’m so much happier and lighter than I used to be. I have a calm confidence that everyone will be okay.

Laura and Jason pray as well. They don’t always pray as I do, and I never force them to pray. However, they are usually in the room and listen. Listening is as important as actually praying because I know it goes into their mind and heart. We pray when a big test comes or if I teach the next day. Praying for others are our most prayers.

I’ve been praying the 54 Day Rosary for the state of our nation. Anyone can pray the Rosary no matter your religion or non religion. I’m praying for the best president to win in the upcoming election and peace in my heart if it’s not who I think it is. I’m voting for the most anti abortion president because abortion is so wrong. However, whomever wins, I will continue to pray for them.

Whenever I pray, I’m relaxed. I feel a gentle peace in my heart. I might not always get what I pray for, but I usually end up with something even better. Prayers also help put everything in better perspective of what exactly is important. I pray for others which makes you less selfish. Praying for others helps them as much as it helps you.

I urge you to try praying more, worry less. You might find out God has big plans for you.
