Laura is now in fifth grade! Where has the time gone? Have you ever wanted to go back in time to see the child at a certain age again? Snuggle them, cuddle and hold their tiny hands. I’m a firm believer of savoring moments, but even still I want to go back and do it again.
Laura is an amazing girl who I thank my lucky stars for each day. She is smart, funny, and has the biggest heart in the world. Jason who is four isn’t always the nicest to Laura is so lucky to have Laura. No matter what she has his back especially if he’s afraid or sad. She wants to be a pre school teacher, and even though I have high aspirations for her, she would totally make a wonderful pre school teacher.
This summer I saw Laura a lot more because she went to part time camp for a few weeks. I loved spending time with her. We liked watching American Got Talent and cried at all the same touching acts. We enjoyed shopping and taking walks. She liked going to the beach with her friend and later, her dad. She liked Dorney Park and Crayola Factory. We shared many laughs.
I was sad to see her go back to school, but she was excited. She organized her book bag several times even on the last day of fourth grade. I felt that I was a good student but she definitely has me beat. Laura diligently kept up on her summer reading almost to the point of tears when she missed a day.
My daughter has taught me to live with feelings and passion. She reminds me to see the beautiful scenery all around us.
Laura had an excellent first day, and I wish her best of luck.
What a wonderful story….. keep up the good work
Thank you so much!
