Perfect moments exist during motherhood make me feel awesome. They are fleeting moments that I’d like to hold on to forever, but they never last. The memory remains, especially on challenging days. Perfect moments blessed me in the last few weeks. Whenever I think of them, I smile and wish I could relive them over again.

    Holy Communion Awesome Tips

When Jason was in second grade, he experienced his First Holy Communion. That school year, the coronavirus pandemic existed, so Catholic education was at home. I taught Jason lessons for Catechism. I enjoyed those moments of just him and me. We learned the prayers, the significance, and the glory in taking the Body of Jesus Christ. Don’t stress the small stuff but concentrate on Jesus. Thankfully, the vaccine for Covid came, and we could have a Holy Communion ceremony at the Church. We had to wear masks, but at least we had the ceremony!

As remarkable as Holy Communion is and we can go in person, we could also have Jason’s grandparents! relatives and friends come celebrate. Jason looked so handsome and mature in his gray suit and nice shoes. Make sure you order Holy Communion attire in advance and they try it on. Take lots of pictures!

The weather was perfect. After Mass, we were able to have a party at our house. Again, as you do not need to go crazy. Some food and cake then you’re awesome.

    Happy Moments

Recently, I came home from work, and Jason greeted me with a big hug. Then, he asked me if he could make me a snack. Jason’s friend came over, and Jason acted hospitably. After they played a video game, he said, “That was fun, wasn’t it?” Laura came home from color guard excitedly. She told me that she enjoys it and making new friends. Laura showed Jason and his friend her newly learned moves. They both clapped. The perfect afternoon couldn’t be happier.

Last year, I didn’t see Laura’s choir concert because of COVID 19. School shut down. This year they had an outdoor show that the choir sang, and they performed a few skits from her spring play. It felt great to see the performance live instead of on a television screen. I also enjoyed seeing Laura performing and singing with happiness. She loves theater. Nothing better than watching someone do what they love. My heartfelt delighted in the perfect moment.

Laura had a promotion ceremony from eighth grade to high school. Luckily, the coronavirus didn’t rob us of the ceremony. Laura has worked so hard academically. She loves to learn and understands the importance of grades. Laura earned distinguished honors all three years she was in middle school. Often, her lowest the rate was 98. She almost had a perfect report card. So, we expected her to have an award for achieving distinguished honors for all of middle school. We went, and it was remarkable to see all the eighth graders process to the field. The principal gave a sincere speech about the determination of the eighth graders. They dealt with virtual, hybrid, and in-person learning. They missed out on many fun events. He congratulated them, and then they started with the awards.

Laura didn’t only earn one award for distinguished honors, but she earned seven awards! She earned both the German and Math award. In addition, she made two service awards for Best Buddies and National Junior Honor Society. The rest were presidential academic awards; what an exciting night to see Laura recognized for all of her hard work. Not to mention to see her surprise and joy of unexpected awards made the night perfect. She was beaming. Afterward, she gathered with her friends and ate water ice plus pictures with friends.

Perfect moments do not come daily but hold onto them when they’ll arise!
