    Off To A Challenging Start To The New Year

    Jason went back to pre k today, and he couldn’t have been more excited. I’m so happy he loves his school. I’ll miss it next year because they are so nice to him and our family.  I hope he has the same positive experience next year.

    Shawn, my attendant, is sick today.  I knew from just being with her because we are so close.  I even feel bad she had to work today, but I found out after work she went to the doctor and can’t come back to work for at least three days.  Luckily, my other attendant, my husband, my dad and my kids have my back. I could call on other family, but I was golden. I just hope she feels better soon.

    After we dropped Jason off at school, we took Laura to Walmart for room accessories.  Well, sadly, at Walmart Laura had an upset stomach. Poor kiddo had the stomach flu for 6 hours straight! She handled it great though and mature.

    Jason acted very well as well as I sat with Laura and helped her as much as possible with my words. Jason handed her blanket and pillow so she would be comfortable. He also played on his own when I was busy. My dad came over to help me at dinner. Jeff started a roast in the crockpot for us before he went to work  Everything tasted delicious! Laura slept well that night, and none of us got the virus!

    Gratitude for today
    1. I’m happy that Grace can work some on Wednesday and Thursday.
    2. My dad can help me for dinners.
    3. Laura is handling her sickness extremely well.
    4. Jason is being an awesome big brother by giving Laura a pillow and helping me with the dogs.
    5. Jeff went back to work after a week off, and he made us dinner.
