    Summer is such a fun time of year. But so many parents are worried about the expense. With camp, trips and vacations things can add up quickly! Here are forty of my suggestions to enjoy summer without breaking the bank.

    Blow bubbles
    Go on a nature walk
    Take silly selfies together
    Build a fort inside and out
    Pillow fight
    Drawing party
    Nature walk
    Library time
    Swimming together
    Water balloon mania
    Plant a garden
    Sprinklers
    Go swinging
    Enjoy the sliding board
    Make your own water ice
    Make your own ice cream
    Plant flowers
    Read daily
    Pray daily
    Play trains
    Paint nails
    Visit a farm
    Go fishing
    Play with toys
    Watch movies you already have
    Do arts and crafts
    Have ice cream for dinner
    Lots of walks and adventures
    Invite people kids for play dates
    Reorganize rooms
    Volunteer for charity
    Jump rope contests
    Catch fire flies
    Tell stories during thunderstorms
    Go puddle jumping
    Dance in the rain
    Put together a puzzle
    Go to free park events
    Go see fireworks
    Learn a new sport together
